You jump into the trash chute, it is a vertical fall, which you slow down every few meters with your hands and feet to avoid a catastrophic fall.

There are also many gold coins scattered around amidst the piles of trash. I wouldn't hurt to fill your pockets with them, would it? For when you're out of... wherever you are.
