The British government has announced a fresh package of military aid for Ukraine – 350 ASRAAM air defense missiles will be paid for with £70 million raised from interest on seized Russian assets.

According to The Guardian, the missiles will be deployed through UK-supplied Raven systems – five more of which are en route to Ukraine, taking the total to 13.

"Russia, not Ukraine, should pay the price for Putin's barbaric and illegal war, so it is only right we use the proceeds from seized Russian assets to ensure Ukraine has the air defense it needs," PM Keir Starmer, speaking before Nato’s annual summit in The Hague, said.
