I don't see it that way, there is a logical reason for Sakura having an extreme backstory. That being the overarching trauma narrative across all 3 routes in Fate. In daily life we encounter problems, for example my car doesn't start, so I go in and I fix some things and get the car to start and I consider things to be "back to the way they were". I consider a clean room to be the default and when it's messy and gets cleaned I consider it to be "back to normal". There's a clear linguistic bias with how we say "restored" or a patient is "recovered" that just doesn't align with the reality of some trauma. The victim can never go back. Sakura has an extreme backstory to ensure we understand she does not "recover" from the trauma, because that makes no sense. There isn't really any point in time for her to "go back" to, so we know with 100% certainty that Sakura won by moving forward.
It's kind of like in Lord of the Rings when Frodo has to leave with the elves in the end. It's not just thrown in to make the ending more sad.
