Since when does one have to love Japan in order to love anime? There are tons of valid reasons not to like Japan which can't really be ignored, but all the reasons I can think to dislike anime are as simple as "don't watch the ones with shit you don't like in them." I can turn off a shitty woke-ass show when it pleases me, but I can't turn off Japan when it does the same.

I'm OK with it as long as the forced diversity is aesthetically pleasing to look at. That's the difference between anime and western shows.
