I do like the soft cover booklets that don't have too many pages, because I hate bringing a sketchbook to a trip that is over 50% full. Why carry old drawings around? The Fabrianos are the nicer ones, but cheap is my priority here, I don't really care for great paper for sketching as long as it isn't terrible. I usually look to pay around 2,50€ per A4 booklet and you can find them cheaper in packs.
