It's why you have pro-lifers who will try to ban abortion but when that baby pops out they don't really care to give it a proper home, the mother could chuck that thing into the dumpster the night after for all they care. They think the notion of taking the bible at a literal face value instead of a guideline for the right things to do means they can cheat the system by fucking up the lives of others under the guise of "being a good Christian".
