Assuming what you say is the case with this, is it not a stretch at best and intentionally misleading at worst to have a display on the species portray them as upright walking, where the obvious implication is that they move this way all the time and are this “closer” to being human? Bears stand and walk upright, dogs can be trained to as well, but they don’t typically do this as it’s incredibly inefficient outside of the human anatomic system — which none of these species have. The normie walking past doesn’t think about the display showing what it could “sometimes” be doing, the way bears are portrayed, for example. Yet that is the extend to which the species may have moved like this, if they existed at all.
