As EN player I agree.
I like some of the voices and the big voices do stay consistent, (part of the reason I stay with the dub instead of switching to the superior sub is that familiarity) but man...
So many voice actors don't return when a new costume or piece of story drops. Instead they'll have someone do an imitation of the previous voice job. Mast is a great example of this. Her original VA puts a bit of a rough edge on the lines (like a pirate) but the romantic maid costume the VA they get just can't replicate it.
Also a lot of the characters that are unique or weirdly cute get scuffed so bad by the eng VA team.
I think they even made Hammering a tranny.
