Just a final thought
There's a lot listed on this poll that I don't recognize that might actually interest me if I knew what it was.
There's also a lot that seems to be names of things I recognize, that I know I probably won't be interested in because it's a reboot of something that's already been played out and is coasting on name recognition.
I think a way to my heart is originality.
Death Stranding 2 isn't something I totally love, but I do like it. It has its red cyborgs, and they're one of the more interesting and haunting bits of imagery from the past 5 years. It stands out.
Show me new things. Excite me. Show me things I haven't seen.
It's why I like Ridley Scott. The C-Section of Prometheus rivals the chestburster of the original. That's something I never expected to see, even if that film isn't popular with normalfags and critics.
