ideally he can play on your account for a bit to test both miyabi and yuzuha if you have them

he can make several accounts and rolls the starter disks until he gets soukaku / piper
from there he has to decide if he prefers the gameplay of miyabi or of piper.
he only needs 1 off-field anomaly to complete his builds either way, like a vivian rerun.

a rerun takes places usually around every 200 days, or 7 months. so if he saves his rolls, he can still get the other character eventually.

miyabi is objectively the strongest character in the game and will absolutely keep his account competitive for a long time. but yuzuha also has a lot of potential, not just with any anomaly, but even any void hunter because of their ability to disorder their own element.

early on it goes down to just how much he likes piper. mid term should about equal. late term is hard to say, probably yuzuha is more valuable but not sure
