AI image generators all suck at graphs, charts, and anything with fine lines that needs to be technically accurate. I tried to get one to spit out a decent geologic timeline and it was impossible. I've had better luck getting them to generate python scripts for these kinds of things. It's inherent in the algorithms they use, which are basically a by-product of computer vision. Randomness gets injected into the image by one neural network which gets evaluated by another, which makes the images they produce inherently chaotic, which makes them terrible at generating images that need mathematical precision.
