I don't actually want a skip button, I just want them to get rid of the mandatory time delay for text so I can click through dialogues faster because there's absolutely no need to read every line of slop, you can get the gist with only a fraction of it and the rest isn't important. I hope they stick to their word and lean into more visual and gameplay driven storytelling than just bombarding us with words but I know they lied.
