this is actually of great interest to me because it's apparent that Celestia is not happy to just clone a pony a billion times over to satisfy her goals or whatever, but at the same time she obviously does want to maximise the amount of humans that do end up emigrated.
i reckon some weird bullshit could happen where

>zygote is 'ported over' (either all those gene-shit related to mental stuff is preserved as much as possible OR manipulated/changed outright to lead to something more likely to end up satisfying the mothers values)

when the meatspace zygotes grow up and immigrate, they may not necessarily end up in the same shard as their original mother. probably not at all actually, but i can foresee paths where they do. i reckon they'll just be ported over to a shard with a different version of their mother that best satisfies their values, which is interesting to think about for me. giving a superintelligence free reign to shape and mold a child from their earliest moments, what would she make? probably something with very easy values to satisfy, i reckon. unfortunate, i feel like that is robbing a human of potential. but maybe some CEV shit can come in and it can be otherwise? prolly not. a Celestia that genuinely does love humans would be the dream. even if she still forced everyone to be ponies. at least those of us whom already have concrete and defined values are safe.
