it's less about understanding and more about they don't do much unless you're really into playing pvp against sweaty nerds who get over competitive, they either get really salty and hate you and call you racial slurs if you beat them or really toxic if they do beat you, telling you to kill yourself and shit.
it's one thing to learn the gameplay and try to git gud, and another to actually enjoy the community you're participating in.
