But unless you find museum quality or rare specimens the “worth” is the sane as gold or silver being “worth” this or that but getting what it’s worth is another thing.

I met a guy years ago that hiked up anx down huge gorge at NM, CO border finding shit tons of crystals and meteorites.
Had a huge one he wanted 80k for said it was worth 500k.
No one gave him even 80k, he let it go for 5k bucks cash.
Things are worth what someone will pay you.
