I am on my 3rd Golden Retriever and they are great companions. my last one i had put down in my living room, she was 12. I was petting her as she stopped breathing. I helped the vet guy carry her into his truck and when I went back inside my house, the most severe pain hit me, despair, loneliness, hopelessness... I cried harder than I ever have before. it was fucking horrible. she was my friend and the only thing in this life that appreciated my company. that was May 15th. I decided to get another one ive grown attached to, and I will have to face that day again. I dont care because the time I spent with Bella were the best years of my life. every time I had a horrible day to the point I wanted to kill myself, once I got home she was there happy to see me and all of my depression vanished instantly. I recommend a golden retriever to anyone, its a great experience and I wouldn't trade that for anything
