I'd argue that Trump was a sort of liberal civil war. He thought he could do liberalism better and more efficiently than Obama, but had to sell it with things people actually wanted. Obviously as we can see now, he had zero intentions of reversing anything Obama implemented (because they don't actually disagree that much) but he opened the door to openly expressing dissatisfaction with what the religion requires. It's why there were so many MIGA gay ops shilling hard for him leading up to the 2024 election that just turned into naked zionism and a total kikeslave state. We're going to see a rapidly aging political class that already makes the late USSR look spry even as civil order falls apart.
