There is 0 synergy going on between the different teams in this game. The writers just want to shart out their entire manuscript (first draft no edits btw) onto the players and the devs are left trying to cobble something together into something that actually resembles a video game around that. Which is why this game alternates between 1 hour meaningless chore """gameplay""" segments and 1 hour zero interaction dialogue segments. And then you have the sales analysts mandating that the upcoming products get their ample exposure to the targeted market demographics. This obviously leads to low player satisfaction in the disjointed story experience, which then leads to rushed story rewrites, which then further fractures the tenuous narrative cohesion that was left.
