They believe that this world is “imperfect” and “illusory,” that it was created by a lower deity/daemon/demiurge as a prison for “fallen souls,” and that one can escape it and reunify with the higher divinity by striving to “perfect themselves” in accordance with the virtues of their doctrine.

They draw their symbology from Egyptian religion, Pythagoreanism, the Zendavestas, and so on.
