on the turkey aisle, nozomi saves her ancestor from falling down a cliff. mai's parents are dead as implied by the OP, and her bowling ball was their gift. rina and nozomi seem to have made up. nozomi spent most of her phone battery and powerbank gooning at a picture of the green guy. and her balls drove off a pack of scary hound dogs. no yuri is to be seen as of episode 5

necronomico, supposedly miko is an orphan, and she was a lonely girl. mayu then came to her and they been living together as sisters since childhood. then the old gods came and invade earth and took the body of mayu (and other streamers). it has been shown that the old gods sometimes get urges and obsessions and feelings from the streamer they possesses (such as wanting to eat food as a food youchuba). episode 6 spent a big chunk of the time having cthulhu and miko and kanna going out on a date, with miko especially enthralled by mayu(cthulhu) beauty. then at the end of the day, cthulhu told miko about miko's real feelings toward mayu, and mayu's toward her, which she then expressed via the forced kiss. miko get mad because its not the real mayu and want to kill them (as established)
oh and the show doxxed kanna's house so shes living with miko. the shota-lolicon teacher quit being a teacher and have his family move to somewhere else
