Parochial people who only focus on things in their immediate lives are the most common sort. They are the most npc-like, the people who have no opinions and just make small talk about the weather, their pets, sports, etc. They're the closest to the average and the most similar to each other.

You do believe in it on some level, perhaps you used it without thinking. Race being real in the current era is not a common npc opinion, the opposite is true (very much so, in fact).
If you've spent any amount of time on this board and you don't believe race has some validity, you have a low IQ or are not as capable of independent thought as you think you are. I bet you probably don't believe that concepts like IQ have any validity, either.

The alternative would be merely to act without asking why. "I want to do this, so I will do it". Your idea of a someone who is not like an npc is an animal who just does things and doesn't seek to understand the world or how it operates. That's not unlike an npc. People like that are common and they think and act in similar ways. Look at blacks.
