I know i'm screaming it in the void, but for fucks sake, its a nutrition and physical fitness problem aka lack of resources, not whatever the fuck "toxic-self-image-issues". People are simply too poor to be fit and hot, thats it.
Of course upper class moguls think that if they push enough moolah into propaganda they can get away with feeding people industrial byproducts and sawdust, but it seems like its backfiring in a very weird and even less healthy manner.
