if a monster dies they turn to dust. but what about individual body parts? If one accidentally cuts off their finger with a sharp knife does it instantly go poof?
If you stab a monster non-fatally but the wound goes untreated, does they gradually start to crumble away from the wound outwards as necrosis sets in like the monster equivalent of gangrene?
