The entire point of her character is that she has a debilitating autistic hyperfixation on something to the point she was never able to form meaningful connections with other people and develop empathy as a result. Suu is very unique in this regard. Her lack of consideration for others' feelings let her slide right in to the designated tsukkomi role nicely.
Seeing how far she's come from chapter 123 is endearing and I think was handled really well. She recognized that her hyperfixation is a serious problem and has been genuinely trying to work around it, to great success I feel.
