I've been reflecting recently upon prayer. I came to a realization. It seems almost as if prayer is useless. Maybe God just doesn't care anymore? Maybe he's sick of us? I penned a small stanza about how I feel.

When I was back there in seminary school
There was a person there
Who put forth the proposition
That you can petition the Lord with prayer
Petition the Lord with prayer
Petition the Lord with prayer
You cannot petition the Lord with prayer!

I hope I'm wrong. But I think I've finally come to the truth.
