I messed with EQVAE some more, and it looks like i only got a small improvement in contrast.
Top row is original vae. Bottom row is finetune using the new vae.

It learned some characters like Nimi in 20 epochs, and It doesn't look like it's faster than usual. (there were 200 images with her out of 7000)
So it works, but it's nothing special
