While I think the second angel looks better for your current pose. I do like the first one as well. But for poses such as the one you have in your image, the focus isn't your character, essentially, but the bird. And in the first image it doesn't display that properly, it puts your character and the city as the focus. The angle in the first shot is good, but it would suit better if your character was laying there with his hands relaxing on his stomach with the bird on him or next to him. While the second shot better encapsulates the primary focus, which is him (presumably)tossing and catching the bird. But you also get a great view of the city in the background, even if it is affected by heavy dof, because you get just enough details.
