Working on it. I actually come from someone who was personal friends with Lindbergh and instrumental in one of the little companies that TWA or Pan Am eventually absorbed after he and his young wife died when their little puddle jumper went down. Always loved flying and working towards my PPL.
Anyhow I got the geo because my giant van was murder at 10mpg when everything is 45min away minimum. The geo was $300 and achieved 55MPG. Imagine the horror on my finances family’s faces(who are WASPs from New England) when I pulled up in this bad boy. Yes, it drove 1000 miles in one direction and it even drove all the way back. I still have the title after it wound up impounded because my insane sister reported it stolen after a fight(she tagged it because I was dealing with a license issue. $40K later solved that). Of course I was able to prove that it was mine and the charges were dropped but it wasn’t worth suing her to get the cash to get it out of impound after they towed it from my front yard and arrested me for petit theft auto.
