Never. It was 5 for years, then it was nerfed to 4,5 (down to 27 from 30 when maxed) and it's now back to 5.

Yes he could but in practice the only times you run into calibrum mark range limit is when you calibrum ult someone and they move really far away before the mark reaches them (since the mark is applied with a delay which increases with distance traveled) and when someone walks into a calibrum turret you placed then walked away from or recalled.
Infernum ult damage and infernum runaans interactions were a bigger loss but these nerfs happened for good reasons.

This is true but it's not tragic to end up on it as long as it's not in the form of having almost full ammo on both. The main issue is that gravitum Q doesn't interact with offhand weapons and as such it doesn't generate crescendum stacks so without ult you cannot generate those stacks and crescendum damage is nothing special without it. This pair is also plagued by another small issue not many people know of - there's a bug which sometimes makes it so when a gravitum turret is hitting a target and you're hitting the same target while holding gravitum the turret hits will make your gravitum autoattack cancel mid animation and not fire.

Severum Q with gravitum offhand makes you easily zoom away from any melee champion who doesn't have dashes or already spent their dash to reach you, unless they resist slows or are CC immune in general.

It's still more combo damage than the two pairs listed above.
