Some of these facts weren't even recent. It was just buried underneath by a lot of the Yoshi P fans telling you to turn a blind eye. If you know how austerity works in politics, it has a 1:1 correlation with the workplace and it's rarely ever good. That's how FF14 has been operating post-Stormblood with the content. The only reason why we're only holding on for so long is because of the modding and nightclub scenes. Dalamud's XIVLauncher has been doing a lot of the heavy lifting with Quality of Life changes for this game than Square Enix can even manage. (Yet, it did open the pandora's box to rampant botting and cheating.) It's why people even shit on Square Enix for when they implement a plugin/mod into this game, because people wonder who got suspended or terminated for this feature.
