your success with motivation especially early game depends on your ability to manipulate your deck in your favor. If you rely solely on the on the R card given at the start of your run, it's extremely unlikely you'll get the card when you need it. Adding cards like picrel also help increase the likelihood you land on a nuke card on the last turn.
You can also avoid/delete cards that allow you to play more than once (e.g. parameter +9 card - which does not synergise at all with logic's play style) to increase the rate you cycle through your deck, which increases the ]chance of you landing on a nuke card.
