Kids aren't going for high end degrees because you can't go to college without racking up tens of thousands in debt. Nobody is getting high end jobs because gen xers and boomers are holding onto them with a death grip. People
Millennials and Zoomers can barely afford to move out of their parents houses. Why on earth would we be going to high end restaraunts to hit up girls? Who even hits up girls at fancy restaurants? A bar is one thing but do people go to 3* restaurants to hook up? Just waltz over to a table at a high brow place and sit down? Nobody outside of the top 3% if that can afford to do this if it's even something rich people do do at all.
