This is novel eschatology only a few hundred years old and neither the Catholics nor Orthodox subscribe to it.
MOST of Revelation is about the destruction of the Temple in apostate Jerusalem, scattering of the Jews, the persecution of the Christians, and Christ's Church Triumphing over the beast (pagan Rome).
