>make her an OP generalist
>get everyone riled up about how good she is and hoping she stays that way
>instead nerf her personal damage into the ground when not in her exactly 1 dedicated teamcomp/circumstance they want you to play her in during V3
>nerf her even further during all subsequent beta versions and/or make her even more restrictive to play
>kill all hype during the entire process
