I get it, it would have been more impactful if she stayed dead but her being for (you) is less of a bullshit especially after the whole Ishmael thing than Vera meeting you and, you have no memory of it + the fact that she never once hinted that you've crossed path before. I mean it fits her personality to keep information/feeling to herself but it was a bit of an asspull move and, even the other characters that were there never once said anything so it was clear that they pulled that kind of story way to late
