It's really sad because these threads weren't always like this, but at some point /xivg/ outcasts invaded and the old community here just stopped trying to drive them out and gave up and left. Now the avatarfags who just come here to ERP 24/7 are all that's left, and their sycophants like Homestuck who defend them at every opportunity. Hell, when the hack happened and everyone moved to Otherchan, the avatarfags moved there too and took up residence there. Threads there were indistinguishable from /xivg/, and rather than resist the avatarfags everyone collectively accepted their presence and acted like it was normal. Because this is all that's left of /v/ XIV posters: people who unironically think avatarfagging and using threads as ERP outlets is perfectly normal. Anyone who had a problem with these freaks are long gone.
