I stopped getting angry when my friends do things I consider to be “bad friend” things like not messaging me for an entire day while having a whole conversation with someone else or not inviting me to something he’s doing with other people. I always put so much pressure on myself to be a good friend to people but when I see that effort isn’t being reciprocated it puts my mind at ease knowing I can be a shithead too and not feel bad about it. This dude you’re talking about should’ve just taken that as his cue to not give a shit about you anymore and not care so much.
