He joined you as you made way to the guestrooms, stopping a servant to inform that you would take the best one. Understanding that he wanted to talk in private, you entered a small room with him and closed the door. Taking the Black Noise Device from your belt pouch, you placed it on a shelf and Foecourt understood that he was now free to talk.
"Like I said, Blackmoore doesn't like me. He sees a couple of us petty nobles as threats to his position. Me because of the knights I command and Lady Imswit as she has the respect of other nobles." Foecourt told you.
"Why don't you push back on him?" You asked.
"And give him a reason to work against me directly? No, I can't do that." Foecourt said to you. "Prince Alric, I have a request."
"What is it? I hope you aren't asking too much." You asked him.
"The petty nobles like you, can you keep their backs for me? Lady Imswit does her best, but she is just a Lady." He asked you.
"I will see what I can do, keeping the whole Durnholde friendly to me is a smart thing to do." You replied and shrugged.
"Thank you, I can't ask more from you." Foecourt replied. It felt like he wanted to speak more, but couldn't.
>He has something else that he wants to talk about. Ask him what is it?
>Has he talked to those knights who are willing to jump to your service? How many of them and when they would do so?
>Will Foecourt join you in Dawnholme. You respect him, Blackmoore clearly doesn't. You could use a cavalry commander.
>Thank him for fighting alongside you in the campaign. He is a good man and you think of him as your friend.
>Other, write in.

>Charge the gnolls closest to you, the ones attacking Regional Defenders and roll up their flank.
>Push into their rear and decimate the gnolls now weakened by arrow fire. Make sure no one escapes.
>Ride past the first gnolls and go for their center, that is where the Alteracis should be as well.
>Avoid prolonged melee and lead the knights to harass the gnolls all over.
>Other, write in.
QM: Good that you passed that DC 15, high risk high reward would have meant that if you had failed, I would have killed Bakhtet right there.
I am also going to ask a question as I think it has been a while since the last time, and because it might help me in future depending what sort of answers I get. How do you think Alric’s romance life is going? Is it going to be Malevus or could someone else still steal Alric’s heart? A lover? A daring adventure? I hope I haven't fumbled things as a QM and a writer. What do you think?
