The second coil was less explorative than the first coil and I think that is due to the team having less time to work on the layouts of each map. Although, it is interesting to note that this is the raid tier that introduced the "Savage" variants of the encounters. The fights were genuinely so overtuned for the playtesters that they had to actively nerf Nael (which is arguably considered one of the hardest fights in the game of all time) to about 50/60 percent.
Although while the gameplay was on the decline, the story and mystery of the coils are very intriguing. In fact... it makes me realize what is missing from Dawntrail's introduction. That being mystery. The most I have felt is when Zoraal Ja revived himself, it was a good twist, but since before and after that point, everything was told to you. You were not experiencing learning something new, you were just told about it.
Mystery overall is very important for a story to continue, without questions, there is no search for answers.
