I'm typically conservative and definitely not on the side of woke in the culture war. I didn't even pay attention to this Sydeny Sweeney thing when it broke because I felt it was probably nonsense. But looking at it the "great jeans" thing is clearly implied as a double entendre--a word or phrase that is open to two interpretations, one of which is usually risqué or indecent-- the dual meaning is yes, her jeans are great, but she also looks great as a white blonde female. I'm not hating on it, but the leftists do have a point about this being racist (it's highlighting how white blondes are the golden prototype for women, that's going to rub a lot of women the wrong way). Very bold of American Eagle to do this.
