This webm is a good example of some of the charm I enjoyed. For me G4 was the first time seeing hosts break the fourth wall, being intentionally awkward with commercial outros and yelling at crew members.
I remember some segment on Attack of the Show where they were talking about beer or a brewery and had beer on set, but then Kevin Pereira explained that you're not actually allowed to drink alcohol on tv and it always stuck with me as gospel.
