There isn't much more to this, it is shitty but blown out of proportion. Only the huge porn sites and ones that have heavy connections to reddit like redgif and ytboob for instance are age restricted. I've not tried to do it yet so I don't know if they actually require photos and/or cards or not. The laws themselves were pretty much mainly targeted at pornhub anyway. Never underestimate how out of touch some of the older guys are, a lot of them probably believe they have defeated porn exposure by putting a restriction on "the porn hub". I don't think these threads even necessarily come out of completely ideological places. It is a common pattern on 4chan and the internet at large. Take the previous times the UN claimed it was coming for anime and manga in the past. People act like it is over and whatever. But it tends to not amount to much. I can't really be brought to care much about these laws. DeSantis already was pretty retarded and is suggesting his wife run in the next governor election. It will be good when he is out of office (I doubt his wife will win).
