Well I'm in charge of the team and the pool now on the days that I work, so it makes nice money. Politics will get you a nice job eventually but the market for starters is just shit. So it's just applying for entry level jobs and wait till you get picked. It takes some time to get in, but once you're in you're virtually settled. I could also move to the Hague, Brussels, etc. for an easier time to get a job but I don't wanna leave everything behind. So I guess it's partially my own "fault" - but I rather have my friends and family closer than to chase a career.
