They should have continued anduin's priest storyline. Having him be an apprentice to velen and possibly becoming a cultist due to shadow corruption would have been kino. The arthas parallel doesn't work for because anduin has never had to make choices like arthas did. He could have even been a medivh like character if they leaned into him being some sort of mad scholar
