You're thinking of Matt "MVP" Ryan not Matt "mid" Stafford. Outside of the 2011 lockout year he had consistently worse passing stats each season than Brees, Roethlisberger, Manning, Brady, Rodgers, Ryan and Rivers. Doesn't exactly scream Hall of Fame level to me
