The gearing system is still horrific despite the purpose being able to play multiple classes on 1 character you actually can't. You need to wait 3 months to buy the gear due to weekly gatekeeping on currency
X.1, X.2 etc patches are all identical every single expansion, you can even predict what materials will be needed for crafting new recipes based on the past equivalent lvl one. It's all so predictable there's no excitement
Completely outdated QoL systems like dial up friends list and limited amount of outfit storage. Or no cross DC PF to save dead servers. Or housing being limited and having a lotto system to even get a house

Even the stuff they do that's good takes YEARS to implement. It took them 6 years to add headgear to viera, and their solution to it was just allow the ears to clip through, that's all. 6 fucking years of waiting for that? Why wasn't that done earlier?? No wonder people are upset
