Summer of 2002 when I was growing up in northern NJ. Room I was living in had a big skylight window you can look out at stars with. Woke up in the middle of the night to a weird humming noise and white translucent orbs floating outside. Forest that was full of cricket and frog noises went completely silent which was weird. Was still half asleep but after wiping my eyes to get a better look, I heard a tapping on the glass of the window. Had a typical grey with an elongated neck and black eyes staring back at me and just observing me. It had its hands against the window and was just looking at me through the glass.

I was pretty much completely frozen in terror and for some reason I had no ability to move my body or scream no matter how hard I tried. It's a bit of a blur but I do remember it probing my mind or trying to speak to me telepathically. At some point during that it broke eye contact and I had time to scream and run downstairs.

Family didn't believe me, it wasn't sleep paralysis, but I do remember in the morning I went back to my room and did see long finger smudges on the outside of the window. I'm older now and have not had anything like it ever happen since. Within the last year or two I also found out the local reservoir had a big UFO sighting back in the 60's.

Call me a faggot or larper but genuinely I wouldn't waste my time typing this unless it happened.
