Tony fights some guy in space and they both end up absorbing the power cosmic making him a threat to the universe. Had to take the living tribunal to intervene and stop them. The tribunal imprisoned the villain but let Tony go back to earth because he vowed to use his powers for good. Once he got back he decides to start small scale testing what he can do and makes everyone able to have his intellect.

Basically since everyone is as smart as Stark they are all using their intellect to benefit themselves and that makes society fall apart since its not to benefit others.

Something, something, they bring in Dr. Doom and a bunch of other heroes to tell him to fuck off. Tony kills them and realizes he's the villain and they have a lot of deep dialogue and reflection into himself as Stark and his motivations. After he realizes that he resurrects every and lets go of his powers. Villain comes back and they fight but Tony has a man to man conversation in which the villain gives up his powers, beats tony but stops and decides to keep him alive (tony admitted to being a drug addict who doesnt care about living), so he takes Tony to a hospital and the villain kills himself by jumping off a building.
