>Ryozo Tsujimoto, the third son of the Tsujimoto family and the produser of Wilds, was promoted to the position of quality assurance for all of Capcom's development AFTER Wilds' release.

I think there is a bit of confusion spreading at Capcom right now.

Because obviously WILDS is a failed product, but they have already promoted Ryozo to the position where he is part of the company's board of directors and “supervising” all of Capcom's development.

Capcom is well known for their strict application of rewards and punishments for their employees, especially those in higher positions.

For example, Ono was fired from the company after being blamed for the failures of SF5 and MVCI (he was the man behind the success of SF4, which effectively revitalized Capcom's fighting game brand, but was shipped off to the esports division after the faliure of MVCI), and Itsuno was fired after being blamed for the failure of Dragon's Dogma 2.

If Ryozo was a “normal” employee, he would have been made to take some responsibility for the failure of WILDS, even if he was a senior employee of the company that receives a high salary. But Capcom is the company that is effectively controlled by Tsujimoto family. His brother and president, haruhiro, and the founder and CEO of the company, kenzo kenzo will not let the adorable third son take the blame.

They will continue to give him the position of “supervising” all Capcom products, even though they understand his failure.

What will happen to Capcom in the future? Frankly, I see a 50/50 chance of it getting worse and a 50/50 chance of it getting better. It all depends on how Ryozo accepts his own responsibility.
