When your country gets invaded, every man is required to fight in the war, men will be pulled off the streets to be sent to the front. Men will die, you will not have the option of freedom.
Yes Ukraine has a smaller population and won’t be able to send as many men to die as Russia can and won’t receive volunteers.
I totally understand some Ukrainians don’t want to die, especially when they’re going to make sure Russians get paid to die.
